Alkmaar Shawlette Knitting Pattern
Alkmaar Shawlette Knitting Pattern
Sometimes you just need a quick project for that "instant gratification". If this is you, then the Alkmaar Shawlette is it. You are going to love the versatility of this subtly curved, crescent shaped shawlette. It is a perfect accessory to add flair to any outfit. You can even wear it as a head scarf.
This pattern is suitable for the advanced beginner who is ready for an introduction to lacework, and an experienced knitter will enjoy and appreciate the simplicity of this dainty little project.
I have used Malabrigo Rios and Mohair held together, but this Shawlette is just as pretty without the added Mohair.
Finished measurements after wet blocking: 48" long x 5.25" at center spine.
